Jack Nelson-Pallmeyer is an Associate Professor in Justice & Society Studies at the University of St. Thomas. A nationally recognized activist and author, he examines linkages between faith and political/economic justice through courses like Active Nonviolence and Theologies of Justice & Peace.
His scholarship addresses systemic poverty, militarization, and faith-based resistance, with publications critiquing U.S. foreign policy and global inequality. He co-directed educational programs in Nicaragua and leads movements against human rights violations tied to military training institutions.
