Dr hab. inż. Jacek Jakusz serves as an Associate Professor in the Department of Microelectronic Systems at Gdańsk University of Technology's Faculty of Electronics, Telecommunications and Informatics. His research focuses on cutting-edge microelectronic circuit design with applications in auditory systems and image sensors.
His primary research domains span analog circuit design, low-power electronics, and signal processing. Specializing in tunable filter architectures for cochlear implants and novel ADC implementations for CMOS image sensors, his work bridges theoretical circuit design with practical biomedical and imaging applications. Key innovations include subthreshold operation techniques for nanowatt power consumption and embedded filtering within analog-to-digital conversion processes.
