Jaakko Hirvelä is an Academy Research Fellow in Theoretical Philosophy and Grant-funded researcher in Practical Philosophy at the University of Helsinki's Department of Philosophy, History and Art Studies (Faculty of Social Sciences). He holds a Docent title and specializes in epistemology, metaphysics, and metaethics with focus on modal epistemology and risk analysis.
