JOSE MARTIN CARREIRA VILLAMOR

Jose Martin Carreira Villamor is a Professor at the Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry, University of Santiago de Compostela, affiliated with the Department of Psychiatry, Radiology, Public Health, Nursing and Medicine. He leads the LIIR Radiological Imaging Research Laboratory and holds expertise in Radiology and Physical Medicine.

• Education: PhD (1991) from University of Santiago de Compostela with thesis on Experimental pneumothorax in the rabbit

Research Interests: His work spans medical imaging technologies, radiological diagnostics, and physiopathological mechanisms, with interdisciplinary connections to public health and clinical medicine.
