J.W.J.R. van t Klooster

Dr. J.W.J.R. van t Klooster serves as Associate Professor in Monitoring and Coaching Technologies at the Faculty of Behavioural, Management and Social Sciences (BMS) at the University of Twente. He is also Scientific Director of the BMS faculty innovation lab (BMS LAB), overseeing strategy, technical management, research, R&D, acquisition, and external representation.

• Responsible for 25 state-of-the-art lab spaces
• Manages world-class mobile lab and advanced VR/neuroscience facilities
• Coordinates 2100 lendable high-tech instruments
• Focuses on digital society, health research, and educational technology

His expertise spans computer science, user experience design, and stakeholder psychology. Ancillary activities include membership in the Advisory Committee on Public Health Emergencies (ACPHE) under EU Regulation 2022/2371, and advisory roles at Samkin and Saxion University's Future Learning Lab.
