J. Sage Elwell is a Professor of Religion at Texas Christian University (TCU), affiliated with the AddRan College of Liberal Arts. He holds a Ph.D. in Modern Religious Thought from the University of Iowa (2008), an M.Litt. in Philosophical Theology from the University of St. Andrews (2002), an MA in Philosophy of Religion from the University of Kansas (2000), and a BA in Religious Studies from William Jewell College (1998).
