J. Corey Williams

J. Corey Williams is an Associate Professor in the Department of Psychiatry at Georgetown University School of Medicine and serves as an Adjunct Lecturer. He is also a Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist affiliated with Medstar-Georgetown University Hospital and a Co-Executive Director of the Early Childhood Innovation Network (ECIN). His career integrates clinical practice, education, and policy work, with a focus on addressing health disparities and advancing mental health support in schools.

Dr. Williams specializes in school-based mental health through the MedStar-WISE (Wellness In School Environments) program. His research and practice emphasize health equity, mental health access for underserved populations, and the intersection of medical humanities with psychiatric care. He co-founded the National Anti-Racism in Medicine Curriculum Coalition (NAMCC) and leads initiatives on recruitment, retention, and inclusive climate at Medstar-Georgetown Department of Psychiatry.
