J. Claudio Moreno Rocha

J. Claudio Moreno Rocha serves as an Associate Professor in the Department of Cellular Biology and Genetics at the Autonomous University of Nuevo Leon, actively contributing to the Science Education Alliance-Phage Hunters Advancing Genomics and Evolutionary Science (SEA-PHAGES) program. He participates in faculty meetings, workshops, and symposia to advance undergraduate research in phage genomics and science education.

His research spans Genetics, Genomics, Phage Biology, and Molecular Biology, with dedicated focus on Science Education methodologies. Dr. Moreno Rocha develops key educational resources including the Phage Discovery Guide, Bioinformatics Guide, and Phage Genomics Guide, while supporting sequencing initiatives and collaborative investigations for student researchers.
