Iyad Ahmed

Iyad Ahmed is a Researcher at the Institute of Green Civil Engineering, Department of Landscape, Water and Infrastructure, University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences, Vienna (BOKU). He holds an M.Sc. in Civil Engineering (2014–2021) and contributes to research in structural engineering and sustainable construction materials.

Research Focus: His work centers on topology optimization of reinforced concrete structures, sustainable infrastructure, and advanced material science applications in civil engineering. Key areas include concrete technology, structural analysis, and environmental engineering.

Publications: Ahmed has published three works (2021–2024) on reinforced concrete beams with voids, simplified topology optimization strategies, and electromagnetic properties of cementless materials. These contributions span structural engineering, material science, and sustainable construction.
