Ivana Tomić Ferić is a Professor at the Arts Academy of the University of Split. She earned her PhD in 2006 from the Department of Musicology at the Academy of Music, University of Zagreb. Her research focuses on musicology, ethnomusicology, and historical intersections of Mediterranean and Central-European musical cultures.
- Education: PhD in Musicology (2006, University of Zagreb)
Research Interests: Her work examines Croatian music history, neologisms in language during crises, and interdisciplinary connections between music, cultural heritage, and social phenomena. She led the project Musical Sources in Dalmatia in the Context of the Central-European and Mediterranean Musical Culture from the 18th to the 20th Century (Croatian Science Foundation, 2017–2021).
