Ivana Jadric

Ivana Jadrić-Kučan, PhD, is an Associate Professor at the Department of Archaeology, University of Zadar. She teaches undergraduate and graduate courses including Introduction to Ancient Archaeology, Iconography of the Greco-Roman Pantheon, and Roman Imperial Cult, while also mentoring three doctoral dissertations.

Her research focuses on ancient archaeology of Dalmatia, particularly religious practices, architectural remains, and urbanism in the Roman province. She has participated in major archaeological excavations at sites such as Nin (Sv. Križ, Crno vrilo, Zaton), Benkovac (Asseria), and Burnum.

She earned her Graduate Archaeology and Art History degrees in 2004, Master of Science in 2007 (topic: Liber's cult in Dalmatia), and Doctor of Science in 2011 (topic: Imperial cult in Dalmatia), all from the University of Zadar. Her career includes collaboration on the long-term project 'Religious life in the Eastern Adriatic in the Roman period' since 2005.
