Ivan Sijakovic, PhD, is a Full Professor at the Faculty of Political Sciences, University of Banja Luka, Bosnia and Herzegovina. With a career spanning over three decades, his research focuses on sociology, political science, social capital, and organizational behavior.

His recent work examines societal attitudes toward the LGBT population, forensic accounting practices, gamification in education, and the impact of social media on Serbian society. He has extensively studied self-construction through symbolic interaction, social capital dynamics, and the legacy of Marxist theory in contemporary contexts.
Professor Sijakovic's research also covers value chain optimization, sociological frameworks for economists and legal professionals, religious violence, and the evolution of family structures. His academic output reflects a commitment to understanding socio-political challenges in Bosnia and Herzegovina and beyond.
