Ivan Sergeichev

Ivan Sergeichev serves as an Associate Professor and Director of the Center for Materials Technology at the Skolkovo Institute of Science and Technology (Skoltech), overseeing the Mechanical Testing Laboratory and Center for Materials Technologies.

His research focuses on materials innovation with emphasis on space-compatible recycling systems for additive manufacturing. Recent breakthroughs include a plastic recycling system for 3D printers slated for installation on the International Space Station (December 2024), demonstrating practical applications of materials engineering in extraterrestrial environments.
