Ivan Jureta is an Associate Professor at the Department of Business Administration, University of Namur, and a Senior Researcher at the Belgian National Research Fund (FNRS). His work bridges method engineering, requirements engineering, and conceptual modeling of information systems.

His research focuses on automating expert knowledge in problem-solving and decision-making, with applications in requirements engineering, business analysis, and knowledge preservation. He has published over 60 papers and authored the book Analysis and Design of Advice (Springer, 2011).
His recent work spans blockchain-based requirements engineering, quality assessment in requirement elicitation, and BI dashboard design. He actively contributes to conferences like CAiSE, RE, and RCIS.
