Ismihan BAYRAMOGLU

Prof. Ismihan BAYRAMOGLU is a Professor of Mathematics at Izmir University of Economics (IUE), where she also served as the founder Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Sciences from 2001 to 2022, and Chair of the Department of Mathematics from 2001–2013. Previously, she held roles at Ankara University (1993–2001) and Azerbaijan institutions, including the Azerbaijan National Aerospace Agency and Azerbaijan State University.

Education:

• Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics, Faculty of Cybernetics, Kiev State University (1988)
• M.S. and B.S. in Applied Mathematics, Azerbaijan State University (1981)

Research Focus: Her work centers on probability theory, statistical distributions, nonparametric statistics, stochastic processes, record theory, multivariate distributions, and copulas. She has advised over 15 PhD students, many of whom now hold academic positions at institutions like Selcuk University, Ankara University, and Ege University.
