Kristin Ismail-Meyer is a Research Fellow at the Department of Environmental Sciences, University of Basel, Switzerland. As part of FG Schünemann, her work focuses on atmospheric particulate matter (aerosol particles), investigating their role in Earth's climate system and health hazards associated with polluted air. The research combines laboratory experiments, fieldwork, and interdisciplinary approaches to characterize aerosol sources, chemical composition, and impacts on climate and public health.
