Dr. İsmail Başoğlu is a Lecturer in the Department of Industrial Engineering at Özyeğin University. He has been affiliated with multiple universities since completing his PhD in 2014, teaching courses such as probability models, stochastic processes, simulation modeling, financial simulation, engineering economics, supply chain management, and production and operations management.

He has participated in postdoctoral research on "Quasi-Monte Carlo Applications in Portfolio Risk Management" at Xi'an Jiaotong-Liverpool University.
