Ishbel Duncan

Dr. Ishbel Duncan is an Honorary Senior Lecturer at the School of Computer Science, University of St Andrews. Her research spans software testing, network security, penetration testing, data sciences, and computer-supported education. She leads the Cyber Nexus project (£420K, Scottish Government) and collaborates on EU-funded initiatives like CINE Northern Periphery and CUPIDO. Duncan's work includes virtual worlds for education and heritage (ViStA, Virtual Dive Experience) and security evaluation techniques for cloud systems and intrusion detection.
