Isabelle Bril is a Senior Researcher (Directrice de Recherche) at the CNRS laboratory, LACITO (Laboratoire des Langues et Civilisations à Tradition Orale) in Paris-Villejuif. Since January 2014, she has served as Director of the CNRS 'Fédération Typologie et Universaux des Langues,' having previously been its Deputy Director from 2012-2013. Her academic career spans multiple prestigious positions within the French research system, including membership on the National Evaluation Committee for Linguistics.
