Isabelle Bengtsson is an Assistant Professor at Linköping University (LiU), affiliated with the Department of Management and Engineering (IEI) and the Commercial and Business Law (ARÄTT) division. Her work bridges legal systems and societal impacts, focusing on property rights, public-private dynamics, and constitutional frameworks.
Education:
- Undergraduate degree in Law from Örebro University
- PhD candidate at LiU (started 2019), expected completion 2023
Research Interests: Explores tensions between public and private spheres in legal contexts. Key areas include compulsory acquisition of land, property protection under Swedish and European constitutions, and administrative processes in forestry and energy sectors. Recent work examines species protection and innovative energy distribution systems like Balanced Thermal Grids (BTGs).
Teaching: Instructs courses in Constitutional Law, Administrative Law, and Economic Family Law. Engages in 20% teaching duties alongside research.
