Isabella Piro

Isabella Piro is a full professor of Roman Law and Ancient Law at the Department of Law, Economics and Sociology, Magna Græcia University of Catanzaro. She specializes in Roman legal systems, criminal law, and historical legal knowledge, with a focus on casuistry and legislation.

Her research interests include the evolution of Roman law, comparative legal studies, and the foundations of legal knowledge. She has taught courses such as Roman Law I, Roman Criminal Law, and Case Studies in Roman Law for over a decade.
