Isabel Valente Dias

Isabel Valente Dias serves as a Visiting Professor at NOVA School of Law, NOVA University Lisbon, while maintaining a dual career as a senior lawyer at Morais Leitão, Galvão Teles, Soares da Silva & Associados and a researcher at CEDIS – Centre for Research and Development on Law and Society.

Education:

Her research centers on Labour Law, Social Security Law, and Data Protection, with practical applications in legal advisory and litigation. She actively bridges academic theory and professional practice through her work at CEDIS and the European Labour Law Network.

Professional engagement includes membership in the European Labour Law Network (ELLN) since 2020, where she advises the European Commission on EU labour law matters. Her legal practice spans Labour, Social Security, Immigration, and Data Protection law, reflecting deep expertise in both advisory and litigation contexts.

She leads no dedicated labs or teams but contributes to CEDIS research initiatives and ELLN’s pan-European expert network, focusing on evolving labour law challenges in data-driven societies.
