Dr. Isabel Smith is a Professor in the Department of Pediatrics at Dalhousie University's Faculty of Medicine, holding the Joan and Jack Craig Chair in Autism Research. She is affiliated with the IWK Health Centre's Autism Research Centre and the Department of Psychology and Neuroscience. Her work focuses on developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorders (ASD), and interventions for children and families. She has received awards including the IWK Research Award (2010) and the Dalhousie Clinical Research Scholar (2005–2010).
