- Doctorate in Geography from Complutense University of Madrid
- Graduate of Leadership for Environment and Development Program (LEAD) at Colegio de México
Research Focus: Her work in Land System Science integrates spatial and territorial perspectives across critical environmental domains. She examines landscape transformations through the lens of forest climatology and biodiversity conservation while addressing socio-ecological challenges via community resource management and environmental policy frameworks. Her research particularly emphasizes the monarch butterfly biosphere reserve as a living laboratory for sustainable coexistence between human communities and fragile ecosystems.
Scientific Recognition
- National System of Researchers membership
- National University Distinction for Young Scholars (2009)
