Isabel Legaz Perez

Isabel Legaz Perez is an Associate Professor at the University of Murcia, affiliated with the Faculty of Chemistry and the Department of Health Sciences. Her academic focus includes Legal and Forensic Medicine, with research interests spanning biomedical ethics and neurogenetic studies. She earned her Doctorate from the University of Murcia in 2007 with a thesis on the genetic characterization of neurons in the claustroamygdaloid region of mice, supervised by Dr. Loreta María Medina Hernández.

Her research affiliations include the groups Biomedicina, Relación Clínica, Ética y Bioderecho and Legal Medicine and Toxicology. She previously contributed to the Desarrollo y Evolución Neurales research groups.
