Isabel Cavalli is a Non-Tenured Teaching and Research Fellow at Côte d'Azur University, affiliated with the GREDEG UMR 7321 CNRS research group. Her work bridges econometrics, causal inference, and policy evaluation across health, trade, and innovation domains.

Research Interests focus on applied policy evaluation using microeconometric methods, health economics addressing NCDs, HIV, and health inequality, international economics analyzing trade patterns and institutional development, and economic innovation exploring digitization and medical advances. Current projects examine breast cancer screening effectiveness, digital divide impacts on trade, and academia's role in patenting.
Teaching includes Trade and International Finance tutorials at SciencesPo Campus Menton (2024-2025) and Macroeconomics 3 at Côte d'Azur University (2023-2024), spanning 96 hours of instruction across six tutorial groups.
Thesis: Shaping Outcomes: Evaluation of Policy Effectiveness in Innovation, Trade, and Health (defended December 2024), supervised by Lionel NESTA (UCA) and Andrea MINA (SSSA), with committee members from UCL, INSEE, University of Manchester, and Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna.
