Isaak M. Papadopoulos

Isaak M. Papadopoulos is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Early Childhood Education and Care at the International Hellenic University. He has previously held roles such as Head of the Department of Educational Sciences and Associate Dean of the School of Doctoral Studies at UNICAF University in Cyprus, and has taught at the Hellenic Open University, University of the Aegean, and European University Cyprus.

Research Interests:
Papadopoulos focuses on language education for children, particularly in bilingual and multilingual contexts. His work emphasizes literacy development, reading and writing instruction in early childhood and primary education, and intercultural communication. He is also deeply engaged in exploring how translanguaging and multiliteracies can support inclusive education.

Publications & Contributions:
He has authored or edited more than 12 books and volumes, and published extensively in international journals and conference proceedings. His recent work (2018–2021) centers on translanguaging pedagogies, CLIL in multilingual classrooms, and intercultural literacy in early education.
