Irma Bartolo

Irma Bartolo is an Instructor in the Department of Romance and Classical Studies at Michigan State University (MSU), teaching Spanish courses at the 100, 200, and 300 levels. Prior to joining MSU, she taught Spanish at Southern Illinois University-Carbondale, Colorado State University-Pueblo, and The University of Mississippi.

Her professional focus lies in language education and teaching methodologies, particularly for Spanish and English as a second language. She has coordinated English programs for migrant workers and served as a teacher’s aid supporting Spanish-speaking students in secondary schools.
