Professor Iris Tommelein is a leading academic in sustainability science and civil engineering at the University of California, Berkeley. She currently holds the Roy W. Carlson Chair and Distinguished Professor position in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering. Additionally, she served as a TUM Ambassador in 2024, reflecting her ongoing collaboration with the Technical University of Munich (TUM). Her work bridges academic research and practical applications in construction, automation, and logistics.
