Iris Jung-won Lee is a Professor of Medicine at the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University and serves as Core Faculty for the Nephrology Fellowship program. She specializes in Transplant Nephrology and Nephrology, providing clinical care and conducting research in renal transplantation and related immunological mechanisms.
Dr. Lee's research interests focus on renal transplantation, T-cell tolerance and transplant immunology, and immune mechanisms of nephritis. Her work bridges clinical practice with immunological research to improve outcomes for transplant patients, with particular attention to understanding rejection mechanisms in kidney transplantation.
