Iris Isufi

Dr. Iris Isufi is an Associate Professor of Medicine (Hematology) at Yale School of Medicine with significant leadership roles at Yale Cancer Center, including Co-Director of the Adult CAR T-Cell Therapy Program, Co-Leader of the Cellular Therapy Clinical Research Team, and Co-Chair of the Cellular Therapy (CT)-SAFE Committee. She maintains appointments across multiple departments including Developmental Therapeutics, Hematology, Internal Medicine, and the Leukemia & Lymphoma Program.

Dr. Isufi specializes in hematologic malignancies, particularly aggressive lymphomas, with extensive expertise in autologous and allogeneic stem cell transplantation. Her research focuses on early drug development in lymphoma, with numerous clinical trials involving novel therapies for T-cell lymphomas, Hodgkin lymphoma, and diffuse large B-cell lymphoma. She has published extensively on optimizing CAR T-cell therapy monitoring, outcomes after allogeneic transplantation, and real-world evidence for cellular therapies in lymphoma treatment.
