Irina Moissejenko is an Associate Professor (0.8 position) in Russian Language Didactics at the School of Humanities, University of Tallinn. She teaches modern Russian courses at the BA level and Russian language didactics (native and foreign) at the MA level. Her research focuses on bilingualism, textbook development, and text analysis. She has authored numerous Russian language textbooks for secondary education. Additionally, she serves as Chief Pedagogical Supervisor and has extensive international teaching experience through Erasmus programs in Hungary, Bulgaria, Germany, Italy, Spain, and others.
- Education: Graduated from the University of Tartu, with postgraduate studies in Moscow.
Research Interests: Her work explores bilingualism dynamics, pedagogical approaches to Russian as a native/foreign language, and foundational methodologies for language textbook creation. She emphasizes practical applications in educational settings, reflected in her textbook publications.
Teaching and Collaboration: Leveraging Erasmus collaborations, she has integrated cross-cultural pedagogical strategies into her teaching, enhancing didactic frameworks for multilingual learners.
