Irene Elmerot is a postdoctoral researcher at Stockholm University's Department of Slavic and Baltic Studies, Finnish, Dutch and German, within the Faculty of Humanities. She specializes in corpus linguistics and discourse analysis of linguistic power structures, particularly focusing on linguistic othering. Her research spans topics like migration discourse, climate change communication, and representation of social groups in Czech media.
