Irasema Coronado is a Professor and Director of the School of Transborder Studies at Arizona State University (ASU). She holds a Ph.D. in Political Science from the University of Arizona and an M.A. in Latin American Studies from the same institution. Her research focuses on human rights, environmental cooperation, and U.S.-Mexico border politics. She has authored/co-authored works like Fronteras No Mas: Toward Social Justice at the U.S.-Mexico Border and served on key boards including the EPA’s Good Neighbor Environmental Board and the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences Council.
