Her book The Alt-Right Movement (2021) won the Excellence in Book Production Award from the Federation of Indian Publishers. She has also edited the journal Human Geography since 2010, promoting radical, liberatory scholarship and allocating profits to research grants for junior scholars.
Her recent publications analyze Marxist ontologies, urban displacement, and commodification in global cities. She teaches courses such as Globalization, Conflict, Resistance and Urban Geography, emphasizing critical pedagogy and social justice praxis. Chatterjee’s work dismantles liberal identity politics and interrogates the material-discursive roots of inequality.
