Ioli Kalavrezou is the Dumbarton Oaks Professor of Byzantine Art at the Department of History of Art and Architecture at Harvard University since 1989. She is on leave during Fall 2025. She has previously taught at UCLA and Ludwig Maximilian University in Munich. Her roles include serving as Chair of the department, Senior Fellow and Senior Research Associate at Dumbarton Oaks, and Trustee at the Cyprus Institute in Nicosia.
