Ioannis Paschalidis is the Distinguished Professor of Engineering at Boston University, holding joint appointments in Electrical and Computer Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, and Systems Engineering. He is also the Director of the Rafik B. Hariri Institute for Computing and Computational Science & Engineering and a Founding Professor in Computing & Data Sciences. His research spans optimization, control theory, machine learning, and computational biology, with applications in healthcare, robotics, and smart infrastructure.
