Ioannis Melanitis

Ioannis Melanitis is an Associate Professor at the C’ Sculpt.Studio, Athens School of Fine Arts, and serves as Vice-Rector for International Relations and Director of the Master in Digital Arts. His work bridges art, science, and technology, focusing on transgenic organisms (e.g., Leda Melanitis Transgenica), AI-driven installations, and performance art. Melanitis explores themes like biomimicry, information as conceptualization, and the intersection of art and philosophy.
