Ioanna Miliou

Ioanna Miliou is a Senior Lecturer at Stockholm University's Department of Computer and Systems Sciences, affiliated with the Digital Futures Faculty. She co-leads the AI-based Asthma App using Spirometer (A3S) project and participates in the OrganoFeed initiative focused on organoid maturation for drug testing. Her work bridges artificial intelligence with healthcare innovation, particularly in respiratory diagnostics and biomedical systems.

She collaborates with Digital Futures, a cross-disciplinary center established by KTH Royal Institute of Technology, Stockholm University, and RISE Research Institutes of Sweden. Her research emphasizes societal challenges in digital health, with a focus on reproducible in-vitro testing and AI-driven medical solutions.

As a Co-PI on the A3S project, she contributes to developing clinical technologies for asthma management. Her lab's location is at Osquars Backe 5, Stockholm.
