Inês Palma Ramalho is an Adjunct Professor at Iscte Business School (ISCTE-IUL) where she teaches postgraduate and executive programs focusing on Corporate Governance, Fintech, Banking Law, and Payments Systems. She holds a law degree and has been practicing law since 2008. Currently, she serves as a founding partner of Pérez-Llorca's Portuguese office and co-head of the Banking and Finance team. Previously, she was a partner at Sérvulo & Associados, leading the Finance and Governance department and advising on Fintech, EU Whistleblowing Directive compliance, and regulatory matters. Her professional experience also includes roles at the Bank of Portugal's Prudential Supervision Department and participation in the Portuguese government team managing the EU/IMF/ECB financial adjustment program.
Her teaching career began in 2011 with undergraduate law instruction, evolving into specialized executive education. She combines legal practice with academic contributions, emphasizing practical applications of financial regulation and corporate governance frameworks.
