Ingrid Schreyer is a Senior Lecturer in Painting and Art Education at the Department of Fine Arts & Design, Mozarteum University. She serves as a Staff Representative and Spokesperson for mid-level faculty committees. Her work bridges artistic practice with ecological and rural themes, emphasizing vulnerable ecosystems through painting and drawing.
- Education: Studied Visual Education and Philosophy-Psychology-Education in Salzburg.
- Teaching: Focuses on rural experiences and alpine pasture studies with farm animals.
Research interests include environmental art, cultural ecology, and pedagogical approaches to art. She curates the Galerie im KunstWerk and is a board member of Gallery 5020, fostering artist-student exchanges.
Key exhibitions include solo and group shows at Salzburg’s Eboran Gallery (2003, 2010), Traklhaus Gallery (2005, 2011, 2015), and international venues like ArtHouse Sardinia (2014). Her work was nominated for the Eisler Prize (2011).
