Prof. Dr. Ingo Stotz is a faculty member at Aalen University of Applied Sciences, affiliated with the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Materials Science. He holds administrative roles including membership in the Faculty Council, Dean of Studies for General Mechanical Engineering programs, and Head of the Admissions Office.
- Research focus on Turbomachinery, Thermal energy systems, Fuel cell and hydrogen technology, Green Technologies, and Cardiac support systems (VADs)
- Expertise in Fluid mechanics, Heat transfer, Thermodynamics, and Power/work machines
Students can engage in project work involving conception, design, development, simulation, and optimization of systems like heat pumps, fuel cells, and cardiac assist devices. Opportunities are available to participate in laboratory experiments related to these fields.
