Ingemar Andersson

Ingemar Andersson is a Lecturer at Luleå University of Technology in the Department of Computer Science, Electrical and Space Engineering, affiliated with the Digital Services and Systems division. He has taught programming, software architecture, and databases since 2002. Concurrently, he researches at the LDP Centre (Sweden's national digital preservation competence center), where he began as a software/test engineer in 2008 on projects PROTAGE and Test Platform. His research centers on digital preservation systems, specifically designing e-services to facilitate the transfer of digital collections to Open Archival Information Systems (OAIS). He developed six novel design principles for pre-ingest systems through EU projects (ENSURE, ForgetIT), emphasizing adaptive SIP generation and policy-aware workflows.
