Inga Strumke

Inga Strumke is an Associate Professor at the Department of Computer Science at NTNU and Director of the Norwegian Open AI-Lab. Her work focuses on artificial intelligence ethics and algorithmic accountability.

She researches explainable AI, algorithmic bias detection, and ethical frameworks for AI deployment. Current projects examine human-algorithm interaction dynamics and develop methods for trustworthy AI systems.

Awarded the Research Council's Communication Award in 2023 for public engagement on AI ethics, she regularly contributes to public discourse through media appearances and her book 'Maskiner som tenker' (Machines that think).
