Ina Shved is a Professor at Anhui University and Director of the Center for Belarusian Studies (China). Her work focuses on traditional Slavic culture, gender studies, and oral history, particularly examining trauma, memory, and survival strategies in rural Belarusian communities across historical regimes. She has published extensively on folkloric symbolism, including monographs like Раслінныя сімвалы беларускага фальклору (Brass 2000) and Міфалогія колеру ў Belarusian tradition (Brass 2011).
