Imène Haouet is an Assistant Professor at NEOMA Business School since 2011, specializing in Management Accounting & Control. She holds a Master 2 Research degree in Information Systems and Management Control from the University of Strasbourg, where she also conducted doctoral research on performance management in healthcare organizations. Currently serves as Academic Director of the preparatory year for the MS/MSc work-study program on the Paris campus.
Her academic journey includes positions as ATER and Associate Professor at EM Strasbourg, alongside professional experience as a Junior Management Controller at the University Hospital of Liège. Research focuses on public sector organizational change, particularly healthcare institutions' adoption of performance management tools like Balanced Scorecards.
Teaching responsibilities span NEOMA's full portfolio including Executive Education programs. Key research areas include strategic alignment in healthcare organizations, digital transformation in education during crises, and financial risk analysis in emerging markets. Active in academic conferences since 2006, presenting at events across France, Tunisia, Belgium, and Morocco.
