Imran Shaikh is an Adjunct Professor at the Lincoln Alexander School of Law, Toronto Metropolitan University, teaching first-year Criminal Law since the school's inception in 2020. He concurrently serves as an Assistant Crown Attorney in Hamilton prosecuting Criminal Code offences and as a Reserve Force Military Prosecutor (Captain, Royal Canadian Air Force) for the Canadian Armed Forces' Judge Advocate General branch.
His educational background includes:
- Honours Bachelor of Criminology with Sociology Minor from Toronto Metropolitan University (summa cum laude)
- Juris Doctor from University of Windsor Law School
Professor Shaikh's expertise spans Criminal Law prosecution across domestic assault, homicide, and firearm cases, complemented by specialized knowledge in Military Law through court martial proceedings and Communications Law via scholarly contributions.
