Imola Streho

Imola Streho serves as an Affiliated Professor and Vice-Dean of the School of Research at Sciences Po's Law School. She holds a PhD in Law from the University of Paris 2 (Panthéon-Assas) and an LLM from the College of Europe, with prior teaching appointments at the College of Europe, Central European University, National University of Singapore, and University of Melbourne Law School.

Her research centers on European Union law with emphasis on institutional/material frameworks, free circulation of services, and comparative regional integration. She investigates the evolution of EU legal structures governing service provision and has contributed to international projects including ASEAN Integration through Law at NUS's Centre for International Law, examining how legal systems facilitate cross-border economic cooperation and regulatory harmonization across diverse political contexts.

Her 2019 co-authored publication Services Trade and ASEAN Integration exemplifies her focus on transnational legal frameworks for economic integration, bridging EU regulatory models with Southeast Asian regional development. This work connects to broader themes in international trade governance and institutional design for service economies.

Professor Streho previously served as référendaire at the European Court of Justice until 2008 and co-founded the Jean Monnet Center at NYU/Harvard during her 2000-2002 fellowship.
