Imka Buurke

Imka Buurke is a Lecturer at Hanze University of Applied Sciences and a PhD candidate at the University of Groningen's Faculty of Arts, Department of Art History and Material Culture. Her research focuses on interdisciplinary education at the intersection of art, science, and technology in an Educational Laboratory (E-lab), emphasizing embodiment and materiality. She collaborates with schools to design pedagogical approaches that highlight material practices.
