Dr. Imen Tebourbi is a Senior Lecturer in Finance and Programme Director of the MSc Financial Management at the University of Birmingham, Dubai Campus, within the Birmingham Business School, Department of Finance. She holds a PhD in Finance from Paris Dauphine University, France, and an MSc in Finance from HEC Montreal, Canada.

Dr. Tebourbi's recent publications reflect a strong focus on corporate governance, firm performance, sustainability, and executive compensation, with empirical studies spanning diverse regions including Taiwan, Australia, Kuwait, and ASEAN countries. Her work often examines the interplay between governance mechanisms, managerial behavior, and financial outcomes.

Dr. Tebourbi actively contributes to the academic community as a member of the editorial board for the Journal of Corporate Accounting and Finance, the International Journal of Economics, Finance and Trade, and the Journal of Emerging Issues in Economics, Finance and Banking. She also serves as a reviewer for several ranked finance journals. Her prior experience includes administrative roles as Associate Dean and Head of Undergraduate Programs, as well as academic positions in the United States, Canada, France, and the UAE. She has also worked as a Researcher at the Institute for Corporate Governance of Private and Public Organizations and the Centre for Research on E-Finance in Montreal, Canada.
